Current Magazine is looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing! We are expanding our team as we begin a new stage with our online branding, and we’d love to hear from you!
Current is Tidal Magazine’s exclusively-online edition featuring an ongoing rotation of talented artists. Both Tidal and Current reach a highly curated group of creatives and tastemakers in the industry.
Everyone on the Current team has a multi-faceted career, and we understand that our Director of Sales and Marketing will too. Because of this we work to accommodate each team members schedule accordingly. Working on Current will not only provide an incredible opportunity to expand and strengthen one’s creative network, but also provides the opportunity to work on something beautiful and authentic. The Director of Sales and Marketing will play a key role in setting the tone for Current’s brand content and in helping determine marketing behind the media.
This position is based on commission. For every job that is executed the Director of Sales and Marketing will receive a percentage.
The main responsibilities for the position are:
Outreach to target list of brands for branded content/advertorials
Sell creative media and branded content campaigns to top industry brands
Manage flow of communication between editorial team and clients to deliver a seamless execution of sold packages
Craft insight-driven strategies and use storytelling to create proposal decks
The creativity and input that comes from every member of the Current team is highly valued and is everything in shaping what the magazine is.
